WytchwoodFeri Fridays

Unique presentations with a different Feri Initiate each month. Topics are Feri-centric and advanced; these workshops are not recommended for beginning Witches.
Workshops are comprised of a 1 hour 15 minute presentation and a 1-hour ritual followed by a 15 minute Q & A. There will be a 15-minute break between the presentation and the ritual. Coffee and tea will be provided before the workshop commences and during the break.

Summer/Fall 2008 Series Dates:

"Drawing Down the Moon: Possessory Training” with Dominic Elemirion: July 18th, 2008
Drawing Down the Moon is a long-time practice in many Craft and magical traditions. Come learn about the possessory experience with Feri Initiate Dominic Elemirion and experience some initial exercises in drawing down the moon as taught in the Elencin line of Feri.

Tricksters bring the gifts of fire, storytelling, and music. They also bring chaos and destruction. But even in their darker role, the Trickster is generally a positive force, breaking through old rules and concepts that do not serve with the tricks He plays. Come and be introduced to six charismatic Trickster gods.

“Working with Our Beloved Dead & Ancestors” with Medusa: Oct 17th, 2008
Samhain is one of the times or year when the veil between the worlds is thin. It is the time to honor and listen to the beloved dead. Together we will call the dead and practice listening to them. As a medium who works with the dead, Medusa will discuss various methods for how to listen to them. One of the best ways to begin this work is through food for the dead. Please, begin listening at home and bring a small bit of food that will honor, bless and call to your beloved dead. Objects and pictures are also good for the altar.

“Making Love with the Divine Twins: An Exploration of Feri Sex Magick” with Storm Faerywolf

In Feri it is often said that everything begins, and ends, with Sex. But what does that mean? Sex is so much more than simply how bodies touch. In this class we will explore what the nature of sex is for our souls, and begin to raise our awareness of the sensual nature of our own energy-bodies. We will then invoke the Twins in their various aspects to join with us in sensual ecstasy so that we can partake of their Holy Lust. Learn how to raise and control sexual energy and use it for healing, for alignment, and for spellwork.

“Creation of Feri Oil” with Emelia: Jan 16th, 2009
In this workshop you will be lead into trance to work with the Guardians of Feri. Using our Fetches we will explore each ingredient and create powerful unique recipes. We will magickally craft and empower our Feri Oils in ritual space. Magickal uses of a working oil, synergetic blending techniques and basic instructions for working with essential oils will be discussed. All supplies will be provided. Please bring a pencil and something to write on. There is an additional $5.00 material fee for this workshop.

“Eerie One of the Ivory Tower: The Courtship of Inspiration” with Sharon Knight: June 19th, 2009
Some days the world shimmers like a jewel all around us, and we are filled with insight, sparkle and magick. Other days life seems gray and drab, and we feel we can't touch anything meaningful. What makes the difference? Is there anything we can do to increase the sparkle? You are invited to share in an evening of Courtship! We will commune with the Feri Moon Goddess, in the guise of a quirky little poem from the Drawing Down the Moon rite in the Bloodrose line of Feri. We will explore symbolism, we will sing, we will journey to her realms. Far from being hostage to the whims of our Muse, we can learn to coax that elusive force that the Welsh know as Awen, the Irish know as Imbas, and we know as Inspiration - surely one of the great Promethean fires!
“Hail to the Lords of Plenty” with T. Thorn Coyle: July 10th, 2009
We will work with Freya and Frey as the Divine Twins of Love, Money, Prosperity, and Courageous Action.
Bring some items for spellcrafting. We will be working either with dressing candles, or magical bracelets or talismans. Depending on what you wish to work on, bring either candles and favorite herbs and oils, or beading supplies and amulets to charge. Some supplies will be available, and sharing some of what we bring increases the magic of prosperity and generosity.

Feri Fridays™ take place outside in the Great Grove at Dragondale, one Friday each month, from 7pm and until 10pm. Dragondale is in Boulder Creek, CA.

Directions to Dragondale provided to pre-registered folk.

Admission for each Feri Friday workshop is $35 per person, pre-registration required.

This workshop must have a minimum of 15 participants to take place as scheduled. The maximum number of participants is 25.

Chairs are provided in the Grove and there will be a small, contained fire if required.

Please bring warm layers.
